Mike and Lynn run a first-class professional establishment. They provide an appropriately relaxed environment with excellent facilities. Our room was quiet, spacious and spotless. The bed was comfortably firm. For those traveling by car, the ample parking in an enclosed courtyard is a rare bonus. Breakfast selections are prepared with care. Overall, the property and management deserve a five-star rating.

Mike & Lynn provide everything you need for a stay in The Lakes. Beautiful rooms. Beautiful gardens. Great food and a friendly nature towards their guests. The location is perfect for being close to the village centre and a great base for visiting surrounding areas. Cannot recommend enough and will be definitely visiting again.

Great location, very close to the center of town. Easy walk to very nice restaurants. Nice, comfortable rooms. Pretty, welcoming, quiet garden. Lovely, large breakfast, if you wish. Healthy, vegan, and vegetarian options available.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely lodge, which offered luxurious rooms and delicious breakfasts. It was an easy walk from the lodge to everywhere in town. The hosts were friendly and helpful. If we return to the Lake District, we would love to stay here again.

Posted 23 Sep 2022 on HotelsPerfect B&B with lovely hosts. Deluxe room was great, and I loved the spa bath complete with Bath House toiletries. Yummy brekkie with gluten free & veggie diets accommodated. Only very very small downside was the music played at brekkie was way too depressing/schmaltzy! Something more upbeat would be a nice way to start the day. Definitely recommend this B&B
