Everything about our stay was excellent. Great, quirky hotel with friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Clean and walking distance to everything. Would definitely return.

The room was really lovely, light, plenty of room, with a nice ensuite. We were greeted with a cold drink and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. We would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again. The location is perfect being in between, you can go to either part of the village easily. Parking availability is a bonus.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed hands down! Everyone was so so friendly and the room was so clean and cozy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the lady serving was so sweet. I had an early train on the day I checked out, and I was so sad I couldn’t have breakfast that day! I will think about the Rum Doodle every day until I can go back and stay again. The most special place!

Started with a really warm welcome and staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Really nice rooms and comfortable bed. Breakfast was top quality and in a great location all for a really good price

Lovely B&B in an older home. Clean and well cared for. I’m a convenient location for bus transportation and accessing both Windermere and Bowness
