Our stay was impeccable. The staff, especially, were always on hand, helpful and very friendly. If you want a treat, good food, comfort, beautiful rooms, the Gilpin is the place to stay. Not cheap, but still worth every penny as you certainly get what you pay for.

the staff, the accommodations were wonderful. The food and service at both restaurants world class.
