Cheap and high quality

Should have checked my booking more accurately, especially re Room only. Would prefer B&B but it was a lovely place to stay, most welcoming and Rhian and I had had a busy and enjoyable few days, visiting the Beatrix Potter Attraction, the Lakeside Aquarium, undertaking a Lake cruise, visited the Lakeland Motor Museum and at beautiful and sunny (on the day) Keswick, the Derwent Pencil Museum. All within 20 miles!

Great Welcome & Close To All Amenities
Posted 9 Jul 2024 on HotelsWe had such a lovely welcome from the host who showed us to our room and gave tips for dinner and drinks nearby.
The room was perfect for our needs, the location was ideal and we left wishing we had booked for longer.
Will definitely be back!

What a place!
Posted 7 Jul 2024 on HotelsIncredible stay, our hosts were fantastic and made us feel really welcome. We’re just sad we didn’t stay longer! Room is finished to a high standard and just utterly spotless. All of the little touches were appreciated, even a booklet with information of the local area with food menus. We can’t wait to come back.
