"We rented two rooms for the same price. We were told they were both beautiful. They were both nice, but one was spacious with a beautiful view, the other small and under the roof with a small window and not much of a view. That was disappointing. Other than that, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We did enjoy our stay and would stay there again. "

"We had a very warm welcome at Gasthof Krone. The formalities didn't take long and were immediately followed by a glass of local larger on the house. It was all the more pleasant given that the staff were happy to speak English to us. The meal at the restaurant was a good-quality home-made selection of local specialities. The home-made pasta is deffinitely worth a try. Kinding is a very small town with quite a few things to offer. The local church and the adjacent graveyard are worth a good look...

"Need somewhere to stay for a trade show in Nuremberg. Didn't want to pay trade show prices and as I was flying into Munich I had the opportunity to say somewhere else. Randomly picked here and glad I did. Wasn't busy, but a nice quiet little gasthof. Door was locked when I got there, but that often happens in Germany. Just how things are done. "Der Heiderhof is a very classy hotel. Well appointed, beautifully decorated and a very helpful staff. The spa and work-out room were wonderful and the breakfast was excellent. There is not much to do in the immediate area but it is only 10 minutes to the city center and perhaps 20 minutes to all the outdoor activities of the AltMuhl nature preserve. My one disappointment was the bed. It was very hard, the pillow too flat, and the comforter too thick for a summer evening. I did not sleep well...

"The Hotel is fairly new, the rooms are well designed and the bathroom is just how it should be. Everything was clean and the smell was neutral, which is good. A really good room to get to, after a long day. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. They were nice to talk to. There are only 2 things that i would "complain" about: 1. The bed sheet was a bit too rough, so I had to get used to it. A softer cotton sheet would do the trick. 2. The light in the bathroom is a bit too weak. At first I thought it was dimmed, but I could only find the normal switch. For normal use it is ok, but if you want to shave, it is quite hard to see anything. But maybe it was just my room. All in all, I am happy I stayed in this hotel. "
