The rooms were very shabby and rundown. It’s an expensive place to stay. Don’t be fooled by the pictures online.

Lovely historic property next to the Williamsburg Winery. Convenient to William & Mary and Colonial Williamsburg.

Beautifully antique furnished rooms. Very serene & relaxing environment . Breakfast was delicious & a nice touch. All the staff were helpful & kind. Enjoyed our wine tasting but disappointed the on-site restaurant was closed during our stay. We were looking forward to trying it. One note the bathroom was wonky & not very functional. Doesn’t match the level of the other spaces.

Wonderful to come back each of three night to a warm and comforting grounds and room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay
Again on out return to Williamsburg.

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary at Wedmore Place. It looked wonderful online but I think even nicer in person. Unique antique furniture throughout the inn, beautiful grounds and outdoor areas, quiet and romantic, and the staff was warm, welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast and dining area were a pleasant surprise. I was expecting less when I saw "continental breakfast" but the spread was plentiful and delicious. Staff served coffee which was a nice touch. My husband and I both agree, we will definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family.
