I always enjoy staying at this Best Western. I was a little disappointed when I arrived I saw that this location was under renovation and I wasn’t told of this.

We had a minor issue with several kinds of bugs, which we brought attention to the front desk. They seemed to be attracted to the bathroom. Upon returning at the end of the day, we encountered five or six of them when turned on the bathroom light. She said that she would call an exterminator. We left the bathroom light on both nights we stayed there.

The lobby was nice and clean, but most of the hotel is very dated and not in good shape. The staff did a good job working with what they had to keep the rooms clean. The breakfast was very limited in selection and the quality was not good.

The check in clerk was very unfriendly, but the night clerk was very nice. I understand they are in the process of updating and it is greatly needed!! We went down for breakfast at 8:30 and so there hot food was already gone and was not being replenished. Outlets in bathroom could not be used because they were so old the dryer would not stay plugged in. Parking was not well lit. The hotel was quiet at night.

Was waiting in line behind a group that appeared to be getting special teeatment- tours of the facility, etc. I was waiting for a quite a while before anyone helped to check me in. They booked me in a room that already had an occupant who was angry that I tried to get into their room (rightfully so... what a startling thing to happen). Had to go back to down to the lobby and get an empty room assigned to me. It made me feel unsafe as a single female traveler. The coffee machine had roaches crawling out of it, shower curtain was moldy and too short for the tub, the bed skirts were ripped and the towels smelled. Not a great place for the price.

The check in and checkout was easy. Alisha at the front desk was very cheerful and helpful. This has been my go to hotel for the past 2 years. I wish I would’ve known about it 30 years ago when I started coming there.
