A very tired hotel that used to be a premier inn. The entire property is lacking in its up keep, the room I was given had mold in the bathroom and in the bedroom. Carpets need a deep clean or replacement, mattress also needs replacing. I would suggest if you need to find a place in this budget use newburgh. That’s where I moved to. Much nicer, clean and looks like they have had it cleaned up

When we were going down to our room the smell from a chemical air freshener which was trying to mask the smell of damp was horrible. When we went in our room the bathroom had someone’s dirty towel hung up in it and toothpaste spit in the sink. I mentioned it to reception and they just said sorry. The pillows didn’t have pillow protectors on and were stained. I wouldn’t stay here again

Reception unmanned on arrival. No soap in the bathroom on arriva l. Grab rail on bath wall missing, Shower not safe to use.
Reception person not worried that Phone number unobtainable previous nighht, stated he had reported it.
General condition of The Mount was Run Down and nobody seemed to care..
