"Great hotel. Building is 1919 and renovated approx a year ago. Rooms are small studios (bath and shower separate from the sink which is in the studio) Hotel has a renovated factory warehouse feel--although this building was a social club. Exposed brick, hardwood floors etc. Really nice stay. Tons of free parking and cool restaurants all within walking."

"Frequent visitor to this hotel. Great property with convenient access that University of Iowa hospitals. We’ve always had good experiences (including good in-house food options). This trip we experienced 2 irritating issues. 1) The in room lighting controls didn’t work as expected (we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the bed lamps) and 2) the TV guide on the remote did not match the channels on the TV. Otherwise, this hotel is consistently top tier quality in the Iowa City market. "
