The location was super convenient with a ton of food, dining, and shopping options. Can easily walk right outside and into the village strip.
The room was big and spacious for 2 people. The kitchen was quite large and surprisingly had a full oven/stove (not shown in the pic for the standard room). However, the room they put us in, the bed was not facing the TV so it was very awkward to watch
Downside. Our toilet was not flushing so we asked for it to get looked at. They said they would send someone but no one ever came.... So we had to manually fix it ourselves which only lasted temporarily (had to fix multiple times). Poor customer service there
Downside. Checking in the staff that helped us was not super friendly... very monotone and did not seem interesting in her job or helping us. However, the other staff we had encountered were great.
Downside. The walls were VERY THIN! Can basically hear peoples conversation from the hallway (early in the morning & late at night despite quiet time at 10pm). Also, since the lodge is right beside Mongolian grill, not sure if they were restocking every morning but you would hear this really loud tray moving outside around 7am everyday
Overall, the room itself was great and location was prime (besides the toilet). Probably would not stay here again given the multiple bad experiences

The property is located in the center along the stroll. You're very close to the bus station, restaurants, shops and a 5-10 min walk to the lifts so its convenient. The facility itself though is dated and in need of a refresh although clean. The staff was nice and helpful. I've stayed at many properties in Whistler and if you're ok with older facilities and prefer location over luxury then this might be ok for you.
