Our room overlooked the inner courtyard so was quiet overnight. The room was clean and quite well furnished. The bed was however not to our taste being over soft resulting in my having a sore back after three nights. The food is like most hotels these days over priced and nothing special. £14 each for breakfast seems very high when some of their main competitors include it in the price at a similar room rate. The hotel is right in the town so access to shops, cafes and restaurants is easy. They are next door to a Waitrose which provided us with food for lunch on our travels every day. We were visiting Brooklands Museum which is only a short drive from the hotel.
This was our second stay the hotel so I guess we must think it’s okay, but nothing special just okay.
