Disappointed with this comfort inn, i been staying in differents ones but this one i think running by someone don't care about hospitality

There were bugs all over the bathroom, the sheets and carpet were flithy... the bottoms of my socks came up black, the pool was hardly ever open, the tv volume doesnt work, the ceiling in shower was too low, and the whole facility smells like cigarettes.

This property was terrible. The hotel was under construction so walking through the hallways you had to dodge people working on rooms. The carpets in the hallways were dirty with stains everywhere. I had to ask for toilet paper and towels for the room. My room was not cleaned during the three days I stayed there. The breakfast was a joke. When I arrived to breakfast they had three pieces of eggs and two pieces of sausage. They only had orange juice and lemonade no apple juice. They had waffles and when I made one and looked for syrup there was no syrup. When I asked for syrup I was told they didn’t have any but they had butter. I will not be staying there again. Do yourself a favor and do not stay at this hotel.

Close to restaurants and coffee shop was the only benefit. However, management initially refused to check me in due to me only having a passport and not a drivers license, which I’ve NEVER had a problem with before. He then proceeded to raise his voice at me when I asked him to pick up the phone to speak with the Expedia representative who was trying to problem solve. He essentially wanted to leave me stranded without a place to stay AND prevent me from getting refunded by Expedia. After the 3rd call and 15 minutes of arguing with me and the rep, he finally checked me in anyways. All he did was type in my address, which I could’ve given to him in the first place? Seemed so unnecessary, I also overheard him being rude to a lady in a wheelchair. He changed his tune after I told him he’s purposefully being unhelpful, but it was too late at that point. I already felt uncomfortable and was worried about him retaliating in some way. I was perfectly fine with staying somewhere else if they couldn’t accept my passport, but his unwillingness to even help me get the reservation cancelled/refunded was ridiculous. The Expedia rep also has never heard of this policy, nor was it in the reservation requirements. His hostility towards me (a younger female) AND an elderly woman is ALARMING. I was very polite considering the circumstances.

This place is in serious need of a deep cleaning a LOTS of maintenance.
