"Very nice place, perfectly located. There are supermarkets nearby, and it’s only an 8–10 minute walk to Temple Bar and around 15–20 minutes to Dublin Castle, Trinity College, and other main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great window and a nice light control system at the entrance. The A/C worked efficiently. While the room might feel a bit small or tight for some, it was still perfect and offered all the necessary comforts. About the area: it feels generally safe. However, I strongly recommend avoiding Moore Lane and Henry Place, especially at night. Your GPS might suggest that route, but please choose another. Instead, walk along Parnell Street and turn left onto Moore Street, which runs parallel to Moore Lane. Moore Lane and Henry Place are poorly lit and have a few boarded-up buildings and parking lot access points. In the early morning or at night, some groups tend to gather there, and the atmosphere can feel uncomfortable or unsafe. My wife and I had a concerning experience walking there, which included inappropriate behavior from an individual. Please note that this is not a judgment of any community, and I do not intend to generalize or make assumptions. I’m simply sharing what we observed to help other travelers stay safe. Overall, our stay was excellent, and with a bit of awareness about which streets to use, the location is fantastic."
