"The hotel was undergoing construction and the pool was not available. Our room was nice but the bathroom was not clean. There was no free breakfast and honestly the food was not great considering the price. Overall it was a big bummer that we paid so much for so little as far as accommodations. "

"The owners, Carol and Denis, were just fabulous! So courteous and accommodating. They welcomed us in like we were family and not guests. The location was clean and quiet and warm in a cozy way. I loved the 24/7 access to coffee, tea, and hot cocoa, the gorgeous antiques, and the hominess. Even the house itself invited you in! And the breakfast? Fantastic!! So fresh and delicious and huge! I was stuffed every morning! The only issue was the parking was a bear trying to get in and out of safely....

"Was disappointed that there was no offering for full breakfast and dinner as advertised. It is quite out of the way and quite a ways away from restaurants in Fryeburg !!!"
