"great place"

"I stay in the GR area about twice a month and I have my usual spots however, they were all filled so I was forced to look elsewhere. I don't like to pay an arm and leg for a good nights sleep but I also don't like run down places without amenities to choose from. I came across this Hotel and after reading some reviews and looking at the photos I decided to give it a try (I'll try anything once). I am so glad that I did. It was a great stay and not expensive. I was greeted with a smile and the hotel is full of amenities. I had never heard of this chain before so I was very skeptical but I will now look at this hotel as one of my options when I am staying in the Grand Rapids area. I was very pleased with my stay."

"My daughter and I stayed here for one night, just to get out of the house! It had a great location, it is across the street from RiverTown Crossings and close to all the other things we wanted to do. The hotel was very clean. There were plenty of common areas to sit and relax, if that’s your thing. We had to have a pool and the hot tub was a bonus. It was a spacious area, with plenty of pool towels and easy access to bathrooms/changing area. The hot tub was not “hot” to my standards.. so that was a bit disappointing for me but it was still enjoyable. We had a studio room and it was a great size for us. It had all the amenities we needed and even more we didn’t use. They use magnets to be placed on the outside of your door, if you need anything, don’t want to be disturbed or have a dog in your room. Cute idea! The free breakfast buffet was one of the nicest I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to quite a lot. There is a very large eating area as well. Though there was snow, we could see all the patio tables and chairs outside and outdoor televisions. It’s probably very fun in the warmer months as well. Overall, it was a wonderful stay! "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Country Inn and Suites. Everything was perfect from the time we checked until we left. The front desk clerk was possibly the most friendly clerk I have ever encountered, and we travel a lot! And the management must be doing some effective training with the staff, because every single employee we saw greeted us and were so friendly! I saw that this really makes an impact on how you feel about your stay at a hotel. So hats off to this hotel for making people feel very welcome! The room was very nice and comfortable. The lobby was unusually beautiful for a hotel this size. There was even a fireplace and comfortable chairs, sofa, table and games! Breakfast was amazing, I can’t think of anything they didn’t have, including multiple hot food items, and ample choice. The breakfast area is large and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool area and jacuzzi which was also very clean and nice. Tea, coffee and cookies are always available. The price was very reasonable for what they offer. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area!"
