"My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Daniel and Sam were incredibly friendly and hospitable and made our time in Stykkishólmur memorable. They both went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, and meeting them was the highlight of our trip. As an LGBTQ couple we felt very welcome and safe. "There is no hair conditioner, no body lotion in shared washroom. There is no paper in the kitchen. You can hear the noise from common areas, and other rooms when sleep"

"My spouse and I booked the Fosshotel Hellnar as a stop on our Iceland road trip. It ended up being the perfect location to stop after 1 day travel from Reykjavik and partway around the Snaefellsnes peninsula. We were cold and tired by that point and the Fosshotel was so comfortable on our arrival. The fireplace in the lobby was very inviting. "Charming little place in the middle of nowhere, which I loved. Incredible quiet except for the roaring river and waterfalls the hotel overlooks. The breakfast was excellent and offered lots of options, and the dinner I had one night was delicious. A great choice!"

"We stayed at Hotel Stafholt just for one night and really enjoyed it. The location is close to the Ring Road but in a quiet a bit remote area which we liked. The hotel itself is very new and sparkly clean. The bed and linen are beautiful, the bathroom is high quality and I loved a smell of handwash :) Friendly staff, especially Irena. We would definitely stay there again"
