"We were really happy with our stay here. The cabin was really clean and tidy and the bed was comfy. The curtains were nice and thick, too, for the early sunrise. The price seemed quite a lot for a simple cabin with no ensuite or kitchen, but I guess that is just Rotorua in the summer. Otherwise we were very happy."

"The house is actually older than it looks on the photos. It was quite damp when we arrived but it was a rainy day. The bedroom next to the entertainment area was really dark and damp so we didn't ended up using that room at all. Several things not working while we were staying there, the rangehood light, living room heat pump, also the pool cue was broken, the football table legs were wobbly so I wouldn't say it is safe to have young children in that area of the house. "Check-in and staff were nice, room was fine, the bathroom was weird but not gross (had a jet bathtub -hot tub?) in it. I wouldn’t use it, but others may find it fine. Seemed to be things for kids to do, close to the tree walk. Good: quiet, full on stuff to make meals, you could park right by room (like a motel). Not as good: just a bit old. But it was fine"
