Great location, Good breakfast - A bit overpriced as Spa and Pool area wasnt top class.
And I just don’t get why Germans forces tourists to be naked in the sauna??? They can do whatever they want but please let others keep our swimwear on!

The resort is close to the beach (right behind the dune). It has easy access to a bike and walking trail and is close to downtown. Our suite was clean and had everything we needed. Wonderful restaurant!

The restaurant is great, but its closed Monday and Tuesday. The location is outstanding. We enjoyed the very good breakfast which also included very good gluten free food.

Posted 29 Jun 2015 on HotelsThis was my first visit to Sylt and I chose Dorint Strandresort based on reviews and the attractive images. I was not disappointed. The property is beautiful and immaculately maintained. It is also located centrally for easy walking access to all the fine restaurants and shops in Westerland. My room was more like a suite with a nice washroom, den and bedroom with a balcony with two chairs. I was only here for one night but it was a nice, restful, quiet night. I did not try the hotel's restaurant so I cannot comment on it. BUt the restaurant I walked to was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.
