Wellbeck Hotel, Westcliff on Sea.
Posted 28 Feb 2022 on HotelsTired rooms with a musty smell to them. It was cheap for the area and that is reflected in the condition of the room. If you are looking for a place to crash and dont intend to stay in the room long, it is tolerable. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I was ripped off paying £55 per night. It should be more like £30.

Basic and clean

The creaky floors and thin walls all over the property makes it very difficult to sleep at night. I could hear windows blowing open and closed all night from next-door. There was just too much background noise.
However, it was generally very clean and not bad for the price.
