"We did book our room under the impression that we had a private beach, balcony, and bayfront view. The private beach area is very small, no balcony just your typical top floor walkway at a regular hotel that everyone has access to, && view is ok “bay front view” here isn’t your typical idea pictured when you usually book at other hotels on the beach. Only small minor complaints fr. Our housekeeper ms Toby was very friendly, professional, organized, and kept our room as if no one ever checked into it (in other words very clean and fresh towels, linen etc.) when we checked in around 8pm a lady named Felicia greeted us and during this time she was alone and very busy from current guest, others checking in as well and also calling front desk. She never got overwhelmed continued to help us book our stay another day longer, had one of the best attitudes I’ve came across in a veryyyy LONG time from a hotel front desk! Ms Felica was outgoing, sweet, funny, patient, knowledgeable and all together one of the best interactions I’ve had while checking into a hotel (as myself and my husband travel for work across country) we will definitely return for great hospitality because of Ms Toby (housekeeping) and Ms Felicia (Frontdesk) Thank yall "
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pensacola Beach
6/10 Okay
"This Marriot property desperately needs updating. Our room and the hall smelled of mildew and foot odor. The a/c was loud and did nothing to remove the humidity from our room. The one time during our 4 night stay that I requested housekeeping at the front desk, they did not come."
"They never came to clean our room. We came on Tuesday and checked out on Friday. We had no towels and had to keep going to get towels. You shouldn’t have to clean your own room. I bought some items to clean the bathroom. We let housekeeping know that we needed our room cleaned and she never came back "
"Not at all what the pictures on line show. Hasn’t been updated in 30 years (at least), the outside is what you’ll expect inside. Old carpet in rooms, turf outside balcony and walkways (gross! Had a dog peed here?) I believe many people probably use this motel for one nighter (or hour - as I HEARD around 4:30 this morning 😫😡)
Breakfast area may have been descent 30-40 years ago. Spread wayyyy out, f/d eggs were rubbery, sausage, juice and waffles…nothing more. Bare minimum. Cups without lids for coffee.
Skip this place, anywhere kids be better.
Ownership looks like they’re waiting for a disaster so they can collect on insurance $. "
