Thank you for staying with us. We have never had any problems at this hotel at night. There is always someone at the front desk and we make it a point to check our doors in the evening and at night. So sorry to hear you feel that way.

Loved this place!!
Posted 18 Aug 2024 on HotelsHad an impromptu stay making our way home from vacation. This was a GREAT place to crash! Very friendly service & very helpful folks. Room was very clean, zero complaints. Already aware of a tint to the water due to aquifer they get their water from but let me just say, it was VERY minimal & didnt affect our stay at all. Room was comfortable & updated & very pretty. The place is still partially under construction but it didnt affect us at all. My only suggestion would be for better beds as that was a tad uncomfortable but great location, friendly staff & oh I shouldnt leave out the great breakfast we had! Biscuits & gravy, sausage & eggs with orange juice to get us going for the day! If you're looking for a great place, THIS is the place to stay! Thanks to the friendly & helpful staff!!! Y'all were great!! Highly recommend!!

Dirty and nasty rooms
Posted 1 Jul 2024 on HotelsWe were moved two times because the television did not have signals, and the rooms were not clean (tubs were dirty the carpets were wet. The worst Holiday Inn stay ever ( just dirty and nasty). We did not want to stand in the tub to take a shower.

I really tried to give this hotel a chance.The entrance looks nice and thats where it ends. The rooms are filthy. The crazy thing is I was willing to look past this and until the elavator broke down.
The 2nd afternoon of our stay, the elavator broke down. If I was not traveling with my 84 year old grandmother, legally handicap grandmother, who had a double knee replacement and suffers from hip issues, i would careless. We ask when the elevator was going to be fixed as she was on the 3rd floor and we needed to leave for funeral services for my grandfather. We were told the elevator would be fixed by 7, which was not helpful to us because we had to leave by 5. We figured we could take our time to get her down the stairs and the elevator would be fixed by the time she got back. WRONG! Around 7:30/8PM that night I asked the guy at the front desk if there was anyway we could move her to the 1st floor since it was still broke and I explained she was hanicap and had a double knee replacment. He told me there were no rooms on the first floor but would call the general manger to get an update on the status of the elevator. My family kept my grandmother out as long as possible in hopes of the elevator getting fixed but they fixed it. So my grandmother slowly and painfully climbed the stairs. The next morning, Tammy, the morning front desk person, moved my grandmother to the 1st floor to a room THAT WAS AVAILABLE THE NIGHT BEFORE. Tammy was very helpful.

I am so sorry to hear about this terrible experience you guys had, however, this is the West Monroe La. property. Our elevator has not been broken and you guys were checked into a first floor room at our property. Also, we do not have a Tammy who works for us. I am sorry for the confusion but I am guessing this survey is for another property. Thank you for staying with us. So sorry about your troubles at the other property.
