Convenient, cost efficient, nice to have bedroom separate from lounge. Grounds would look nice with a tidy up, inside of rooms could do with a refresh. Would stay again.

Smoke alarm went off at 4am waking both our kids due to a low battery, theres no extraction fan in the kitchen. Apart from that the host was super helpful and friendly the room is nice and has everything you need.

I'm sorry your stay didn't meet your expectations. It's hard to address any concerns if you don't outline why you were unhappy with the stay. I can see below the past 8 reviews are pretty positive and enjoyed their stay and suggested some sensible improvements which we can address. You booked a very low cost studio unit and we gave you a much bigger 1bdrm unit for the same price so we hoped you would enjoy the extra space and cooking facilities. Please if posting reviews let us know a couple of things we could improve on rather than just saying terrible.

So sorry you didn't like unit 13 and it didn't meet your expectations. We can never be sure if a guest has smoked in a unit but I have had 5 staff members and other motel owner friends walk thru the unit and none of them felt it smelt of smoke or anything else. They all checked the bathroom area and other than some age related issues on the ceiling they also felt it was to the expected std. That only leaves you not liking the manager that outlined the pet friendly rules to you on arrival and I felt that was done in a friendly factual way. It is a privilege to be able to take a pet with you to a motel and most guests respect that opportunity that you were offered.

Self Check in. Key was left in the Unit.
No Tea Towel (an oversight by cleaning staff).

Cleanliness, presentable, had everything necessary for a short stay. Would definitely stay again.
Good location, Close to all services.
Only suggestion of improvement is the main entrance sliding door needs to be adjusted. Was not easy to lock or unlock from the inside.
Plus the sliding door from bedroom to bathroom needs to be attached to a fixed track on the floor as well as the top. It came off the top track a few times when it was pulled across to close it. The sliding door also moved & banged every time the door from the kitchen was opened into the bathroom. Minor details but very annoying. I would not request room 14 if I was staying again.
