Very quaint place to stay; the owners are sweet and considerate! They make the place feel like a safe get-away to somewhere nostalgic. I will definitely be booking a stay here again!

I didn’t stay after being seeing 4 dirty rooms. Some with no bedsheets others with clothes, and plates of food in them.

It is close to Mt Snow ski resort. The property is well kept. It's clean with modern interior. I have no complaint except suggestion of a one page manual / channel guide for the TV. So we do not have to spend time figuring out and get to the channel in an most inefficient way. In addition, the breakfast can be improved a bit. Coffee is weak. Juice (we try apple and orange) are low quality brand which taste bad. These things should not cost much to improve.

Thank you for your review. We used to have a TV guide in each room but during covid that along with the area guide etc was removed. We have considered replacing the TV guide but our local cable company does not provide one apart from the one on channel 3 on the TV. As for the breakfast items we will look into this as we normally have great comments on the coffee etc.

Close property to Mount Snow and restaurants. Room was nice and comfy, and complimentary breakfast was delicious!

Great place

Great location 2 minutes from mountain snow. We had no control over our room temperature we were sweating the heat was cranked up so high

Dear ChristinaThank you for your review. We are sorry that you were so hot but all guest rooms have their own heat controls. I know the date of your stay we did have an issue with the heating in the room above yours where the zone valve had stuck in the open position but I isolated that section using a shut off valve so it should not have affected your room. I have checked the thermostat in your room and it is working fine.

Charming and simple. Everything you would expect in a Vermont lodge. Breakfast was included. It would have been nice to have amenities like tea and coffee outside of breakfast hours.

Hi GregThank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. As for the tea and coffee we have tried two approaches to this. The first was having coffee makers in the rooms but unfortunately our electrical system could not cope with the demand and it kept blowing circuit breakers. The only way to remedy that would be a complete building rewire which is cost prohibitive. The second option we tried was having a coffee maker available in a guest lounge. This did not work out well either as we host many young families with young children who were found messing with the coffee maker so to prevent a child getting injured we decided to remove the coffee maker.
