"It’s a good hostel for a short stay, the showers seem to be brand new and the place is quite clean. There was a really weird smell in my dorm though (it was a mixed dorm) and some people were REALLY noisy. One of them would pace back and forth between the bunks in the morning, which was bizarre. Some had had too much to drink and others seemed quite hostile. As if other people had it easier than them… Just because people don’t complain it doesn’t mean they have a cushy life. "Excellent value for a sole traveller on the quayside in Bristol. Booked a 6 bed room but was given a 4 bed room. Excellent range of bars and restaurants nearby. Check out a bit early though at 10am , as Breakfast runs to 10 am also. "

"We found this space easy and convenient for our stay in Bedminster. Our room, on the ground floor shared space, was comfortable; felt quiet, private and secure. Alongside a small fridge, Coal Shed provide a range of tea and coffee options in the room with crockery and cutlery to hand. A shared kitchen was kept clean and well stocked with equipment and oil for cooking, if you decide to stay in. "The service was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean though the power (Room 6 bed 4) did not work. The comfort could have been improved by adding privacy curtains or similar. However, it was comfortable and reasonable value overall, and I would stay again "

"The apartment is lovely. The location is perfect. The decor and attention to detail is immense. The Internet is terrible. I was unable to work from the room and my conference calls kept dropping until I switched to my mobile data. I did a check on my laptop and the top speed was 3mbs! Totally unusuable for anything but reading an online paper."

"The room is spacious and the amenities is really good but the carpet has some stains. Instead of that the location is very good, just a few minutes walk to Abbey Church and Roman Bath."
