Shangri-La Bed and Breakfast is a great property! Lush landscaping and waterfront property with a pool and hot tub. Rose, the innkeeper, was amazing and friendly. She inquired after us constantly and was so accommodating. The neighborhood seems mixed development, some less well maintained properties and apartments mixed in with Shangri-La. As we drove in, we wondered if we were in the right place. You are further away from the action on the westside of Grand Cayman so be sure to rent a car. There is a resort fee and if you wish a full breakfast that’s extra, otherwise Rose sets out coffee and pastries. I would definitely recommend.

We stayed at this property while in Grand Cayman and it was perfect! Rosa made sure we were comfortable and taken care of the entire time. Close enough to the main attractions/beach without being in the middle of everything. Grounds are well kept. The best little getaway! If we ever return to Grand Cayman, we will be returning to Shangri-La.

Rose and staff made our trip enjoyable and relaxing. Provided a wealth of knowledge that made our trip extra memorable. Our room was very clean and well kept and felt like our home away from home. The pool and bbq area was a bonus. Looking forward to coming back in the near future.

Property was very comfortable and the host was super friendly. Pool area and outside relaxing was great! Nice restaurants within 5 minutes and 7-mile beach also less than 10 min away. Optional full breakfast was delicious! I would definitely return and stay here in the future. The only negative feedback is that it is located behind a couple of local houses which could be cleaned up but the B&B property was beautiful.

It was worth it

Absolutely stunning place and excellent service. The positive reviews are true so don’t second guess when booking. Worth every penny and you’ll definitely feel at home. The room was spacious and clean and even better with the balcony. Breakfast is freshly done every morning with daily shopping for the next day’s meal and Rose was able to provide alternatives for foods that I don’t eat (I especially loved the blueberry French toast). Would recommend you either have your own car or arranged pick up though, but it’s a quick drive to the main areas. Thank you very much Rose and family. If I’m ever back in Cayman, I’d stay again.

I apologize I didn't submit this EXCELLENT review sooner. Life gets busy. Anyhow, this was an amazing B&B. Rose was SO helpful and kind. Beautiful room, walkable location to some excellent restaurants. I love this island to begin with and was absolutely impressed with this property. We WILL be back. Highly recommend.
