Great small hotel. New and modern, but very old-school German. Very very clean. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful and very affordable. I’d highly recommend. The only drawback is that it’s not directly in the old city. However, it’s great for traveling and seeing the neighboring cities and the area. Only about a 30 minute walk to town

The reception and rooms are on 2nd floor and there is no elevator or escalator so had to bring all luggages up a very small stairs. There is also no air conditioner in the room and we couldn’t open the window as the mosquitoes were coming in the room. It’s also not safe to keep the windows open all night as it’s so easy for someone to climb into the room through the windows. The good things are the bus stop right in front of the hotel and the supermarket is right next to it. The breakfast is very boring.

Bei meiner Ankunft um 18.10 war die Rezeption nicht besetzt. Es gab eine Klingel, die aber nur funktionierte, wenn man KURZ darauf drückte, - Das Zimmer war gut, ruhig und geräumig mit einer 2er-Couch zum Fernsehen und hatte sogar einen kleinen Kühlschrank, der leer war, aber funktionierte, Die Betten waren groß und bequem, und der Parkplatz vor dem Haus war groß genug. Die Lage am Ortsrand mag einigen nicht besonders gefallen, aber für Autofahrer ist Wernigerode kein einfaches Pflaster, Wir bekamen Kurkarten. Die Frühstücksoption haben wir nicht genutzt, so dass die Übernachtung recht preiswert war.

Positive Überraschung!

Ich war sehr positiv überrascht- alles machte einen neuen und gepflegten Eindruck, gute Matratze. Das super Frühstück war der I-Punkt. Für ältere Personen könnte das Hotel problematisch werden, da Empfang und Zimmer über eine hohe Treppe erreicht werden müssen.
