Very good location for visiting the local attractions. Breakfast available for an extra charge. My room had a balcony with a nice view of the mountains.

It was a classic Austrian Gasthof/hotel, with a bar and restaurant downstairs. The food was excellent. Parking seemed tight, until we realized there was more along the street. The photo on Travelocity’s website doesn’t do it justice. It was very nice. Breakfast was €15, but generous.

Posted 4 Sep 2021 on HotelsEnjoyed my night at this quaint, family owned guesthouse. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean and comfortable bed with a gorgeous view! I had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious. The service was also very good. The on-site parking was perfect. Werfen is a adorable town and everything is within walking distance, including the Sound of Music trail which was absolutely stunning!
