What an absolute gem of a place. We stayed for one night to finish our vacation in the county, family of four with a teenager and 8 year old. We all loved the Lakeside Motel! The room was comfortable with everything we needed and nice modern decor. The pool area is amazing and the restaurant served great food with a beautiful view. We will definitely be back.

The place was great. The rooms were clean and cozy. The staff were all friendly and ready to assist with whatever needs we had. We would definitely go back

The pool was full of people and not relaxing. They allow people who are not staying at the hotel to have day passes to the pool so it gets busy. Hotel guests are not given precedence for lawn chairs or pool beds so it’s first come first served even for those who are staying at the hotel. The hotel guests should be able to reserve the pool beds and loungers with prioritization given to them.
Bathroom had a strange smell and the room was not ready at the check in time. We were not even offered a free drink by the pool while we waited for the room to be ready. For the price you pay, the service is below standard and the overall experience was not comparable to other hotels within the same price range both locally and internationally. Lots of room to improve on basic service.

Hi NicoleThank you for your review. Like many hotels internationally and those who have swimming pools locally, pools are a popular feature when the weather gets this warm. Since we are a fully licensed and fully serviced pool, we are a popular destination and yes very busy. Because of this we encourage all our guests at check in to go to the pool early so that they can have chairs for their enjoyment. However, like many hotels both internationally and locally, pool chairs are on a first come and first serve basis. Many licenced pools are modeled after this, because many people who book their accommodations don’t always want to or can’t enjoy all the amenities; they may be here for an event or maybe spending the day at a winery. In saying this, we have made provisions for motel guests by securing chairs for them that we bring into the pool area when the pool has reached its normal capacity. At these times, we make space for our guests and seat them. We apologize if we did not meet your expectations. Thank you for visiting, enjoy the rest of your summer.
