"We loved everything about this property! Our apartment was spacious and the kitchen had practically everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful. We were able to walk to a train station and a ferry to cross the river into Schmilka, which was absolutely adorable by the way! Some of the best hiking we have ever done was in the mountains behind the town! We would definitely stay here again! Ansgar, the caretaker, was attentive and lovely! Thank you for everything!"

Just 3 min walk to the Elbe park with playground, stop for boats and ferries, 2 min walk to the bus, 8 min to the train… the perfect spot to explore the Saxony Switzerland area by foot, bike…"

"Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Leider haben wir erst abends feststellen müssen, dass Abendessen nur auf vorherige Bestellung gemacht wird. Die Kellnerin spricht nur Tschechisch, hat sich aber per Handy Übersetzer viel Mühe gegeben. Alles in allem völlig in Ordnung für 1-2 Übernachtungen."

"Wir haben hier ein Wochenende für Wanderungen verbracht. Die Umgebung bietet dazu viele Möglichkeiten. Die Unterkunft ist zweckmässig ausgestattet und die kleine Küche würde sogar Selbstverpflegung ermöglichen. Das Bad ist modern. Bei schönem Wetter bietet das große Grundstück viele Möglichkeiten zum draussen Frühstücken, sonnen, grillen, Volleyball spielen, etc. Das angebotene Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich, empfehlenswert und wird aufs Zimmer gebracht. Das schwache WLAN Signal ist der einzige...

"We arrived by train which was less than ideal as it is up a steep hill. Best to come by car. Having arrived there it was an ideal retreat and handy for a visit to the Bastion Bridge. Also has great views over Saxony Switzerland."

"Great location for innumerable hikes and all kinds of biking. Amazing food, simple but spacious room. No toiletries except for a bar soap. Bathroom tiny but sufficient. A kettle to make coffee/tea would be nice. If driving, go via Hinterhelmsdorf and do not follow google maps as those lead through almost impassable backroads. "
