From the outside it's terrible. Our room had been renovated not to long ago so the room itself was ok. Lots of noise from highway. Lots of long term guests with doors open all hanging around outside. The so called breakfast was very disgusting with gnats and bugs everywhere. Some of the old reviews where prior to ownership change. Plenty of hotels in this area. Pick a better one

Cheaper than the rest, but you get what you pay for. Noisy due to being close to main road and mold and odor.

Overall my experience was good, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating, but there was a disgustingly dirty sitting chair in my room that we didn't dare to touch. Please throw these old items out.

The family that owns it are soo nice. Honestly id drive the extra 30 minutes from charlottesville stay there again.

This could have been the noisiest room I’ve ever stayed in, and I have done a lot of traveling. The air conditioner sounded like a diesel truck idling next to my head. It woke me every time it cycled on.

I would never stay here again. First I got over charged what the room was supposed to be. The hotel room was not clean, there was dead crushed bugs in the bathroom towels. There was so much noise every night, the ENTIRE night. Weed smell was SO over powering literally the entire time we were there. And so many people just hung out in the parking lot drinking and smoking, made us feel super unsafe. Possible the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
