Beautifully designed, very private cabin with an imperious view to the west across rainforest, coastal heath and the shipwreck coast. My 12 yo loved the outdoor bath. Alister and Caroline were full of good tips about tracks to forgotten beaches and rainforest drives. Perfect for day trips to 12 Apostles, etc. Highly recommended getaway for adventurous romantics.

Beautiful quiet view and wildlife showing up regularly right outside the window. Great location for exploring the hiking along the Great Ocean Road. Owners were very clear that it is a bit remote and necessary to bring food to prepare. A great getaway from urban areas.

Heaty and no AC bedrooms
Posted 29 Dec 2022 on HotelsBad design house for summer stay. Too much sun/heat into the house while there is only one AC in the living room. All bedrooms become heaty at night, we couldn’t sleep the whole stay.

The property was a bit isolated but if you bring your own food it is a lovely quiet place to stay and the views are very picturesque.

Wonderful villa on a hill
Posted 23 Dec 2019 on HotelsThis is a beautiful property built on a hill surrounded by farm. The units are each separate buildings. They are very spacious and appear brand new. It felt more like a high end house than a hotel. The kitchen was very well stocked. Make sure to bring your own food since there's no restaurants nearby.
The only downside we found was the AC unit is only in the living room not the bedrooms which made it challenging to control the temperature in the bedrooms. We happened to be there on a 40C day and the single AC unit couldn't come close to keeping the space cool.
