Longhouse manor has always been clean when staying there . Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. A few things in room could use updating (tv and ceiling fans ) and some doors don’t lock properly . All and all we love staying there.

Not worth the money. This is a party house. We got there and there was clothes all over the place and food.

I am truly sorry you did not enjoy your stay. The people you are talking about occupied three other rooms. We allowed you to check in around 12:00 and these people checked in after 5:00 that afternoon. They had been visiting wineries all afternoon and then had alcoholic beverages at the bar in the main living room and snacks on top of the bar. This was all stuff they brought with them. We do not have a stocked bar at the Manor. We spoke to them letting them know they have to keep the noise down and be courteous of the other guests staying at the Manor. This is ALWAYS our policy for all guests at the Manor. There were a couple of jackets on the backs of the furniture and they had a blanket out in the living room. I understand that when you decided to leave, these guests were very rude. We will not put up with that either. This was also addressed with them as well. They did calm down and were respectful after speaking with them a second time. They cleaned up their snacks and beverages and were fine after that. You decided to leave while this was all happening and we gave you a full refund. This experience is certainly very very rare, but we always handle any problems with guests not being respectful. Another review came in from people who were in room 7, which is right off the living room. They would be affected even more by noise and disrespectful guests in the living room. They gave the Manor a 5 out of 5 review. This will tell you that the situation was handled by our staff very affectively when it happened. Your review makes it sound like there were clothes and food all over the room you were staying in. This is certainly not the case.Again, we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay and we did handle the situation very well in my opinion.

Why do customers even bother to lease a review like this? They give us a bad review without any explanation as to why they did not enjoy thier stay? I looked at two new reviews today. This one who gives a 2 out of 10, and one that gives us a 10 out of 10. We want all our guests to enjoy their stay and really want to hear from you if not. PLEASE let us know while you are staying with us if there is a problem. We will certainly address any issues right then and there. So many people say nothing about a problem that could have been corrected so quickly and easily just by letting us know. They prefer to write bad reviews after they go back home. This just does not make any sense to me.We are so sorry you did not enjoy your stay.
