The water play area has a water playground, six slides – including two that are 80m long – and water cannons to splash all your friends and family.
With a nautical pirate theme, the centrepiece is the Jolly Roger ship – ideal for children to enjoy the water in a safe environment. For the grown-ups there are two spa pools to relax in while the children enjoy the rest of Waterworld.
The tenpin bowling facilities are found in the Piazza area and have six lanes of fun for those wanting to stay dry.
For an excellent photo, there is also the giant bucket, spade and deckchair situated at the front of the building where the little ones can pose for a fun reminder of the day.
There are a number of cafes and restaurants close by to satisfy your appetite after an energetic session in the pools. You can be sure that you will have worked up quite a hunger splashing around.
Easily accessible by bus or train, Waterworld is open daily throughout July and August plus weekends in June and is sure to be a memorable day out for children of all ages.
