Not my type of place
Posted 4 Jul 2022 on HotelsHouse was in good shape, very clean & bed was comfortable. However ... there was no front desk so I called when I got there & owner did answer but almost took attitude with me saying he had emailed me, which I found out later he did but at 8:58 that morning, so we were already on the road. No big deal as all information was given & we got inside no issues. Listing states "Private Bathroom" & while we didn't see another person the whole time we were there, the bathroom was across the Hall. Also, the "Shower" that was listed is a handheld wand in a claw foot bathtub with NO shower curtain! The "Free Continental Breakfast" in the listing was Prepackaged Muffins left on our dresser. Also it was stated separate sitting area & there were random chairs around the room but not a good place to sit & relax to watch TV. So both Good & Bad, I will not stay here again nor would I recommend it to friends. This guy has LOTS of antiques, actually too many for my liking, house seemed cluttered.

Sorry my home was not what you were expecting it is a private home and there’s no front desk I have self check in and that clearly is stated in the listing I started this during Covid when I could not meet people. Also stated in the listing it said there was a private bath across the hall with a clawfoot tub and a handheld shower. However I do have another room which is half again as much that has a shower two room suite with a TV sitting area. Did you booked the least expensive room I have available that’s why it’s that price! The room $75 a night with a continental breakfast coffee is in your room along with a mini refrigerator. My listing also says I have an antique store so being a owner of an antique store I have lots of antiques.
I think the whole problem lies with the fact that you did not read what you were buying into if you would’ve you were contacted me like you were supposed to before coming
