The room was not as expected. Carpets were very dirty, a few walls showed water damage and the bathroom had no curtains for privacy had to do makeshift out of luggage and clothes. I was surprised by the overall lack of upkeep for our suite, expected more from a luxury hotel for the money. Staff was excellent though!

what a treat to stay here. Lovely castle with beautiful grounds. We had a five star dinner and breakfast was lovely. thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Our stay in waterford castle was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. Only wish we had stayed longer! It is a beautiful property that is peaceful and relaxing.
