The hotel is a historic place and shows its age but still is a very comfortable environment. Eventhough it is across the street from a 5star property, getting a taxi is time consuming. Breakfast was good but the bar closed early. If you're out to a show or dining, when you get back to the hotel it's pretty much only a place to sleep.

This is a beautiful historic hotel, with a lovely lobby we didn't have time to enjoy. The location was desirable, and we found street parking right outside. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed super comfortable. Alexis, who checked us in, was especially welcoming.

A lot of street noise, Garbage trucks banging dumpsters with back up alarms, car horns, leaf blowers in the early hours of morning (I was there 4 nights on the 6th floor).
Extremely convenient location. Outstanding food at their in-house restaurant. Perfect hospitality staff.
No microwave or mini fridge though.
Older but very acceptable bathroom.
I had two older windows that were crank windows that didn’t shut all the way.
All & all, yes I would stay there again.

Worst hotel experience of my life. I checked in for a 3 night stay and the thermostat (both heating and AC) and WiFi did not work. In addition to that, the windows are literally 1 cm thick and because of this I could hear every noise and siren outside which caused me to be woken up 4 times in one night despite the fact that I wore good quality ear plugs. My co worker was staying at the Marriott marquis across the street and did not have this issue which proves that this hotel just has super thin windows. This left me extremely sleep deprived before my meeting the next day.
The next morning, I went to the front desk and told them about the thermostat, WiFi and street noise. I said I wanted a refund for the 2 nights left on my reservation and the front desk lady said that’s fine but I would have to call Expedia to get a refund. I called Expedia and they called the manager so they could process my refund and the manager flat out refused to give them the ok to give me a refund. I went back down to the front desk and got into a screaming match with the manager and demanded a refund. He yelled back and refused. Super unpleasant situation that I had to deal with on 2 hours of sleep. I had to file a claim with Bank of America to finally get my money back which took weeks. Do not stay here just because it’s slightly cheaper than other hotels. It’s not worth it at all! Horrible manage
