There was some confusion about my breakfast ticket I had to pay again and then get a refund. Someone took the ticket from my table and then when I went to leave, they asked for the ticket again and no staff member would confirm the ticket was already presented.

The staff is first rate. No request was met with any resistance.
Secondly, though being a chain, the hotel restaurant's cuisine quality was the same as that of an independent restaurant.
Lastly, the hotel is a 5-minute walk from Union Station.
