Overall I really enjoyed my stay, the rooms are clean, the amenities are convenient and the parking is right outside the hotel which made me feel safe. I am removing a star because my hotel room smelled like cigarette smoke and the odor made it difficult to sleep.

This hotel was a great alternative to the downtown DC hotels. Much more affordable and has everything you need. Clean rooms, good shower pressure, typical free breakfast, and most importantly ... free and easy parking. This hotel does have an outdoor pool but it was closed during our stay. We were informed about this as soon as we booked the hotel (I belive the pool is seasonal). Supposedly there is a subway nearby that takes you to DC, but we used Uber. Uber wasn't htat bad with pricing between $15-25 depending on timing.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know how we are doing. Our pool is seasonal open form Memorial Weekend through Labor Day. The subway is 4 miles from our location, we general do suggest Uber like you did. We hope to see you back with us if travel brings you to our area.

The hotel was very quiet considering it was on the main road (set back from the main road). Many options for meals. Staff was excellent and accommodating. Breakfast was average but saved time in the morning. I travelled with my mom, husband and small dog so my request for an adjoining room was easily granted. However, the first floor was warm as housekeeping, hotel’s laundry and maintenance of hotel was centered on first floor. Due to the slope of the land the hotel sits on, the entrance to hotel is on second floor and you take elevator down but you are not underground. I would stay here again but on the third or fourth floor next time.
Overall, a good quiet economical and easy stay.
