We were celebrating my wife's birthday and wanted a unique experience. A Bed and Breakfast in Warrenton was our first choice. The furnishings were very nice and enhanced our stay. This is a big plus!
On the negative side: (1) Access into the B&B should have been identified as being difficult to navigate due to the number of steps and how steep they were. (2) Our welcome package had the wrong name on it, which is not a big deal, but strange. (3) No layout sketch on the location of our room and the bathroom we wandered the house looking for it. (4) The B&B was advertised as such, but upon check-in, we learned that only a $10.00 "Gift Card" was provided to the room for breakfast in town. It is nit a gift but advertised as a B&B and $5.00 per person for "breakfast" is not reasonable. (5) No creamer provided for morning coffee, but could be accommodated since we were expected and could have small creamers in the refrigerator. Even packaged coffee cakes in the room for two would be a nice touch.
Advertisement of the facility needs to be update to reflect
actual amenities.

The property was difficult to find in the dark with limited lighting and no obvious sign in the dark. The house is a treasure but with much differed maintenance. It appears very little money is being put back into this nearly 200 year old house.

Thanks so much for staying with us, and for the feedback on the lighting. We took it very seriously, and I've upgraded our signage & lighting situation. Sadly, our town codes only allow for so much we can do.
While there is always more work to do on an old house, we've put every dime we earn back into renovations, and will continue to. As the owner, I have not taken a penny in pay since we opened two years ago. So I hope you come back and see the improvements!
Yours,
