A great little lodge to stay in. Very reasonable rates for Wanaka. Walking distance to town.

11/10 possible NZ's best shared facilities place
Posted 25 Apr 2024 on HotelsWe traveled NZ for a month, and this was hands down the nicest 'shared common space' place we stayed. well equipped, clean, enough space and well managed. wouldn't look for anywhere else if we're ever back in Wanaka

I couldn't fault this place. Spotlessly clean and uncluttered. Even when the lodge was full it never felt crowded because there is plenty of space in common areas, while still feeling cosy. Kitchen was large and functional. Never had to wait for bathrooms or shower. My room was upstairs where there is only 2 rooms, as opposed to off the main hallway where the majority of rooms are, so I can't comment on noise overnight from neighbouring rooms. The managers here are friendly and do a fantastic job of maintaining the lodge and grounds to a high standard.

Blown away by how clean and organized this place is! Loved our stay, the staff is amazing, the kitchen is fully stocked with necessities and amenities, although shared, are super clean and comfortable.

Very beautiful lodge and very clean! Good for a short stay! But the wall of the room is very thin, and we had an annoying neighbor we’re talking until the midnight, so didn’t get a good sleep at that night.
