For the price this is a good place to stay. Staff were great and the building was nice. Room was quite basic, but I got what I needed and expected.

Good for leisure, not great for Business travel
Posted 15 Oct 2018 on HotelsPlease consider this comment from a Business travel perspective. The room was good but not really ready for business. The main reasons are:
- There is a desk but most of the space is used by a TV. So there is no space for your laptop and notepad.
- No great lights for working in the room.
Apart from this, the room was good, clean and nice staff.

Good straightforward hotel - would recommend!
Posted 29 Jan 2018 on HotelsThe Hotel Erbprinz is a nice small-ish hotel with what looks like a good restaurant beneath. The room was fairly simple, but spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable, shower room was small, looked virtually new, had a good shower (showergel and hairdryer provided), the free WiFi worked well and the breakfast was good. It was well priced for what was provided and I would certainly stay again if I found myself in the same area. I was not in Wallford long (visiting I suspect, like many the SAP offices) but the town seemed nice (apart from some slightly random bell ringing at 7:15am). I would not recommend the 1st Bar which seems to be Irish themed. As someone used to the smoking ban in the UK, I find very smoky-smelling bars quite unpleasant. I wasn't able to try the resaurant in Erbprinz because we were taken elsewhere as part of a hospitality thing, but it certainly looked popular!

Basic, economic stay with extra effort
Posted 3 Feb 2017 on HotelsOld-style inn on the tourist street. Simple but clean accommodations, no elevator, free wifi but you must request code for each device.
Breakfast is included, served in the bar/restaurant on entry floor but no hot food.
Limited check-in/out times that suit the owner rather than the traveler, especially business traveler to SAP.
This place is best for folks from old world Europe on vacation rather than what Americans expect.
