Hidden , inconvenient, dirty, no restaurants nearby

Cynthia, thank you for your review. We regret that your expectations were not met. You mentioned that there were no restaurants nearby, yet a block away you have a very good and popular Chinese, Mexican, pizzeria all within. You also mentioned that it was dirty, inconvenient, hidden, although you didn't complain with your room being dirty and we aren't hidden we are right off the highway, so I don't understand how these things were an issue, but I hope you still come back and see us again soon!

The property was very drab. This property has been taken over from Triple 8 by Surestay/Best Western. It's obvious that very little has been done to improve the property. The best thing about the room was the bed and bedding. I appeared to be new and was very comfortable. The towels were old and mangy looking. The chair had huge scratch marks on the end of the wooden arms, actually kind of creepy. The cable TV was impossible to figure out how to work. The channel numbers wouldn't type in correctly to bring up the requested TV show. In addition, the standard TV channels like ABC, NBC and CBS were not available. A shout out to the front desk staff who were very competent and professional.

We are very sorry to hear that you didn't have a great experience in our hotel- our mission is to provide excellent guest experiences, so we are sorry to have let you down. We have taken your feedback on board, and we will strive to make improvements accordingly, we are trying to get the hotel in good standards for our guests but with not enough staff on our Maintenace team its hard for one guy trying to do remodeling and on top of that other things as well. I apologize, it's not your issue but hopefully in the future you will consider giving us a second chance to show you our improvements and will stay here at our hotel.

It was quite and clean. The staff was nice. The bed was uncomfortable and blankets weren't great. Overall it was a fine place to stay.

Arrived at night and there was no lighted signage.....doubted I was where I was supposed to be.... the map hyperlink provided by Expedia indicates its a Super 8. Even in the lobby there was only a tiny sign that said Best Western. I understand the hotel is in transition. Check the breakfast sandwiches for mold......
