Rooms were very clean and quiet. Breakfast was always good. We stayed 7 days and have a wonderful experience. The owners and staff were very kind.

Worth a visit
Posted 1 Aug 2023 on HotelsOur stay was lovely, the place has a lit if charm, view from the room unexpected. Breakfast was good with a nice amount of choice. Nice pub further down the road for evening meal. Only down was check in, which was a little fraught as reception was closed, no sign to tell us where to go. We were later than planned due to heavy traffic and bad weather but not late late, it was about 18.30. Thankfully a member of staff came by and helped us.

Breakfast was a bit simple no cooked food but perfectly fine...
Things that spoiled my stay was the noisy front door which woke me up... Another issue were some noisy guests in the room above...
Hotel recommended despite small issues...

All was perfect, impeccably clean, modern and comfortable within a charming traditional setting. Would go again without hesitation.

Nice, clean guesthouse about a 5 minute train ride from the centre of Waldkirch. Good value for money and the staff were very friendly. Although it's a quiet area there are a few restaurants and a cafe nearby.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet pastoral setting. The balcony (with table and chairs) is a very nice feature that we enjoyed greatly. Excellent breakfast. Close to Gasthaus zur Strassi for dining. Overall, one of the nicest places we stayed at during our 2-week vacation. We will definitely return.

Hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen,leider mit einen Wermutstropfen. Da wir einen Hund mit dabei hatten, wurden zusätzlich Gebühren fällig, was wir grundsätzlich verstehen aber zu den Gebühren zusätzlich noch Zusatzreinigungsgebüren in Höhe von 25€ für zwei Nächte zu erheben finden wir Überzogenen.

Hunde sind in unserem Haus 'auf Anfrage' willkommen, jedoch nur in bestimmten Zimmern, um auch anderen Gästen gereicht zu werden. Wir haben Ihnen kostenlos ein Upgrade von Standard- auf Komfortzimmer gewährt, da nur dort Haustiere erlaubt sind. Die Reinigungsgebühr von 25,00 Euro wird unabhängig von der Dauer des Aufenthaltes fällig.
