We enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Hotel is close to the train station and bus transport. Handy to the supermarket on street level of the Hospital Building and the meals we bought can be heated on the 2nd floor microwave. Also in the train station a good place to eat B1 had an Italian name but great value meals. You can get 1000 yen all day pass for multiple bus trips so we visited all the Temples and Shrines and Wakayama Castle. Lisa is an English speaking worker at the train station & is so helpful.

Solid hotel with a convenient location
Standard Japanese hotel with a standard breakfast buffet. Great location- about 2 blocks from the train station (and you can see it from the train station, so you can’t get lost). There’s a decent assortment of restaurants within a few blocks, so you can easily find something to eat. Pajamas offered at check in and other amenities available if you ask (like a toothbrush if you forget yours).

Small rooms which were cozy. Okay for a one night stay but might be difficult for people with more items and bigger luggage. Otherwise great value for money, conveniently located near the shopping centre and JR train station and buses, great service.

Very close to castle and garden which is pleasure for us. Walking to both places 3 times, Late afternoon for visiting inside. Evening for castle lighting. Morning for jogging around the garden outside perimeter.

Great location, wonderful complimentary breakfast, clean rooms and great staff! The rooms are larger than most Japan businesss hotels and the breakfast serves more than just ocha and plain origiris that most jap biz hotels offer. Great value!

Clean hotel, very close to the train station. Great staff, good variety of food for breakfast. They offer free coffee / tea in the afternoon / evening, although I got back late I would have used this service if I was earlier. Great value for money.

Simple but nice. Staffs are friendly. Limited space with 19 parking lot for hotel resident on first-come-first-serve basis. however, there're other parking space available near the hotel.
