Just relax and enjoy
Posted 3 May 2016 on HotelsFoxgloves is an excellent B&B in a fully restored villa with matching furniture and decoration. Hosts Grace and Patrick will do everything to make your stay great, to start with serving generous and delicious breakfast (and dinner if you want as well). The B&B lies isolated in a beautiful area, the perfect place to relax without mobile phone coverage (wifi is available). Raglan is only a 30 min drive away. We will come back!

Such a lovely place to stay - so worth the money

Pros: Victorian style accommodation, fresh & organic food, quiet place.
Location: You can go to see Bridal Veil falls, Manu Bay, Wainui beach & Raglan.
We were really impressed with the house & our room, feel like we had a chance to live in the Victorian era. Love all the decors, the hosts have put a lot of thoughts into it. Grace is so kind & lovely, we booked our dinner at Foxgloves & we didn't regret it at all. No checkout time, you can stay late even until 12 noon. We had a romantic dinner served with wine & a huge dessert, with candles around. Everything provided is organic & so fresh, even the breakfast, espcially very yummy too.

Great relaxing getaway!

Location: Raglan is a 40 minute drive
If you want somewhere to really get away to, peace and absolute quiet in a rural setting, this is your place. Traditional & quirky, we were blown away by the setting and Grace has everything set out perfectly. We really couldn't compare it to anywhere else we know of in the North Island. Awesome breakfast - almost too much food for us! Highly recommend to anyone just wanting to get away and relax!

Remote but Lovely
Posted 11 Mar 2013We stayed the last night of a six week trip and felt very pampered. We had dinner and breakfast. The setting was lovely, the hosts were very friendly and kind, and the food was delicious. It was the highest value for the cost of anyplace we stayed in New Zealand. HIghly recommend for anyone who wants a quiet place to relax in a country setting.

Excellent service and old fashion quality
Posted 10 Mar 2013 on HotelsA wonderful experience stepping back in time where quality and excellent service went hand in hand. Delightfully decorated rooms that show the passion the owners have in ensuring that everyone has a most memorable stay and capped off with a hearty breakfast with home grown produce. The dinner, at extra cost, was well worth the $35. Would recommend this B&B to anyone who has an eye for quality, excellent value and a chance to share the evening with others around an old world dinner table being treated like royality.

the most wonderful home, food & hosts!!
Posted 5 Mar 2013 on HotelsMy husband and i have never stayed at a b & b before so we were a bit sceptical but from the moment we arrived we felt very comfortable. The hosts Cheryl & Tony are delightful, intelligent and fantastic cooks. They went out of there way in everything. Even brought water to us whilst we were having a lovely outdoor spa watching the moon rise over the hills. We would recommend this to everyone. Cannot speak highly enough of our 2 night stay.
