Nice hôtel, Bad brasserie

We had to wait a long time to check in.
We had dinner at the hotel and had to wait for 2 hours get our food, with no apology or compensation.
A steak was overcooked and when we pointed this out, the server challenged us and said it was fine.
We were so hungry we ate the meal, but would never eat here again.

Really Good Service!

It is an older hotel, but the location was perfect for our group for visiting WWII sites. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio after a day of sightseeing. They served the most delicous mussels in their restaurant, and I had mussels two nights. The language barrier was more prevalent at this hotel, but it was not an earthshattering deal for our group. This is part of an international travel experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Lovely stay
Posted 20 May 2019 on HotelsEasy to find and well signposted with two small parking areas either side of the road. Check in was pleasant, especially as I had actually booked for the wrong day! We were given our rooms and they were a good size with plenty of power sockets and good wifi. They were very quiet too and had a decent desk to work out and nice shower rooms. Prices were good too. We ate at Chez Gerty, the inhouse restaurant.

Fantastic food, great bar

Downstairs is very cool, great bar area and amazing food, lobby and stairwell are very chic but let down a little by a slightly dated room. A little noisy at the weekend, but with such a cool bar, you can understand why!
