"This property perhaps is best appreciated by thinking of it as a 'condo ' rather than a posh resort. Very well run, clean, close attention to detail, free parking, loaner beach gear etc. If you are expecting water slides and a lazy river...no. Medium sized pool w/ hot tub that we rarely shared w/ anyone. Do note that the upstairs neighbors were loud -- early (4 and 5 am) in spite of 'quiet time'. We complained once and then let it go... Great home base to Hanalei and local beaches. "

We stayed in the Bougainvillea building on the 1st floor corner room, where our ground floor patios faced the side edge of the pool, but also faced the gorgeous abundant mountain range. "The unit we stayed in was not represented in the photos, it was a little old with no bedrooms with ocean views. The patio is as pictured, evening sun exposure. Turtles in the bay. Note there is no ac, but we were fine as we were out all day and here in December. Close to a lot of great things.
