The breakfast is very good.In the Night it was a little bit loud, because the bar is under the rooms.But it is not so bad.I think it is only like this on Friday and saturday Night.

The photos on the Qrbitz website are misleading. The photos give you the impression that the hotel is out of town in the hills with green meadows, but it is in the middle of the town. The listing shows “Hotel Restaurant” but the restaurant was closed due to health reasons. We booked the hotel because it hat a restaurant and the closer of the restaurant should have been noted on the listing.

Easy to get in using code for key box, convenient parking. Room was run down, headboard covering peeling off, only one pillow per person, only one toilet roll provided, electric sockets were coming away from the wall so weren’t usable. No housekeeping. Quite a loud area so could hear noisy people outside as needed the windows open due to the heat and no air con or fans provided (whereas a fan was provided in our precious hotel room a couple of hours away).

Comfortable no frills accommodation. Disappointed there was no free bottled water in the rooms, and no mini bar but atleast that gave us an empty fridge for our Gruyère cream. Only one Wi-Fi code per person/device but maybe more if you asked. Nce continental breakfast

We stayed here because it was close to family. It is in a beautiful small town. Everyone is very friendly. The photo is rather deceiving. The room is JUST ok. The bathroom is poorly designed and very tight. The shower is too small. The internet connectivity was awful. Staff apologized about the short comings. We will Not go back to the Sonne!

I don’t think I have ever written a bad review about a stay, but unfortunately that will have to change for this hotel. The room is much different to the photos. The ones online are heavily edited with Photoshop and cameras using wide lens. The shower was not cleaned fully. Headboard of the bed was torn as if a dog had been let loose in the room. TV was from the early 00’s. Then the first night came - with the room being 25 degrees , and no AC or fan available, we had no choice but to open the window. After a long day of driving 400 miles, we went to bed around 10pm. It was apparent the hotel restaurant exactly 1 floor below us was being used as a bar. Although described as a restaurant, this was not the case on this particular Saturday night. Cigarette smoke began to fill our room, causing my girlfriend difficulty breathing, lots of shouting and commotion outside kept us awake until the early hours of the following morning. I sent a message via Expedia to the hotel, of which I received no reply. In the morning, I spoke to the manager. His response to our issues were that the restaurant is shut on Sundays so we won’t experience the noise or smoke again. The following night wasn’t as bad, just extremely and uncomfortably warm. Upon our departure, I complained to Expedia. They called the manager of this hotel up and he said I did not message and did not speak to him. Lies! And then I was refused a refund of any kind as ‘we stayed both nights’. I will not be here again! Avoid!

Expérience très deceptive
Difficile de faire de bonnes nuits lorsque vous dormez au dessus de la terrasse d'un bar et derrière une boulangerie qui reçoit des marchandises à partir de 3h30. La chambre donnait aussi sur des groupes froids qui tournaient certains en permanence d'autres toutes les 15 mn. Peut-être que les chambres qui donnent sur les autres façades de l'hôtel sont plus sympa. L'hôtel ne mérite pas 3 étoiles. Il est toutefois plutôt bien placé pour rayonner autour de Berne et Thoune. Le gérant et la personne en charge du nettoyage sont sympathiques.

Sehr tolle Unterkunft! Alles hat gut funktioniert und das Zimmer war toll. Das Hotel ist gut mit dem Zug aber auch mit dem Auto zu erreichen. 3 Minuten Fussweg bis zum Bahnhof.

so ein kleines zimmer mit kleiner dusche hatte ich noch nie. da ichdas zimmer zuerst über agoda buchte aber keine bestättigung bekamm buchte ich über ebooker. agoda war nicht bereit zu stornieren. werde nur noch direkt bei denn hotels buchen
