Fantastic experience

Amazing place. Suleiman was very helpful, organised our stay, drop off and dinner even though we arrived unexpectedly. Will be back for sure.

Try another camp that treats everyone equally.

We had decided to stay here after reading decent reviews of this place and thought it sounded good. Unfortunately when the owner found out we were not buying a tour from him, it seemed as if we were treated to c class service. We were dropped off showed our room and then ignored for hours with no No one offered tea (like the other camps) or even showed us where the WC was. Eventually we did finally meet one staff member who did offer us tea, and relaxed, he told us the tour group the previous night was treated to music and dancing into the night. So we then said "well at least we would have a decent evening." Unfortunately, after the dinner, the staff pretty much sauntered off. We have stayed at other camps which had free star night walks and talking around the campfire that cost less than this camp, and were disappointed with the service. When we left the next day when we mentioned the lack of attention and lack of night activities like the other camps, the owner told us "well other people buy the 4x4 tour" and basically implied since we didn't we wouldn't get treated the same. Unlike some camps where you can walk around in the sand at camp batefoot this one was rocky. Much better camps to stay at.

We loved our stay. Everyone was helpful and kind. The food was really good and the eating are was beautiful. We loved the fact that the camp was not too large and was well away from the village. The bathroom amenities were clean. Value for money it was fantastic.

A wonderful experience for sure. We opted to take the Jeep tour to get out to the camp site and got to see the historical sites along the way. Camp itself was simple—But simply perfect.

Perfect location in Wadi Rum desert with magical landscapes! Had a nice dinner there, in a beautiful commune tent :) Thank you!

A fun experience staying in the desert, albeit cold mid-winter during a storm. Check-in was a bit complicated as it required phoning the host in advance to arrange pickup, which isn't made very clear in the booking instructions.

Unforgettable stay in the desert!

My stay at Wadi Rum Sky was very memorable. In terms of all the camps you might find in Wadi Rum desert, this one is certainly one of the friendliest. It is also very well positioned to enable you to enjoy the unbelievable desert sunset from the rock top situated right next to the camp. Suleyman, the owner of the camp will help you with everything to you need while you are there - great host, great camp, great memories forever!

Best Legit Experience

Pros: everything!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE! I have nothing bad to say; it was the best experience ever!! Wadi Rum Sky is a little deeper into the desert, tucked between some mountains and away from the other camps. This was definitely the real deal. The tents were great with nice warm blankets, a cozy-enough bed, and the bathrooms were clean. The Bedouins who run this camp were amazing!! They were super friendly, and they gave a really authentic experience. Dinner was delicious; we sat around a fire while Mahmoud played music and sang. Salam went above and beyond to show me everything he could. I stayed two nights and could've easily stayed more. If you are looking for an authentic experience, I HIGHLY recommend. The location also has a phenomenal view of the sunrise and sunset. So happy I found this place. Thank you Salam, Mahmoud, Eteeg, and Mhareb for everything!!
