Wonderful Place!
Posted 23 Jul 2022 on HotelsMy family of 5 LOVED this place! Clean and comfortable and just so relaxing. We loved visiting Volterra and nearby places during the day and couldn't wait to go back and swim and have drinks on the porch each night. We would definitely stay here again.

This agriturismo did not meet our expectations. While it is a well designed building with beautiful grounds, it is poorly maintained and not very clean. Although close to Volterra, the long access road/ driveway is in such rough condition that it almosst requires a four wheel drive. So isolated the GPS did not recognize the road. I would not stay here again.

Very rural... nice views and pool
Posted 27 Sep 2018
Pros: Pool, views, volterra
Cons: The apartment needs equipping better for self catering, they need generally maintaining..
Location: Volterra is stunning, good roads to Pisa, Florence and siena
The apartment are very basic, no kettle, no toaster... shower was broken, tv controls broken. We stayed 7 nights and it was never cleaned in that whole time, no fresh towels or bedding. Really nice pool and views, very quiet and peaceful. The road down to it is horrendous, you will bottom the car out.. Don't use sat nav to find it, it won't... just head towards the public swimming pool and pick up signs from there.

AMAZING place!!!
Posted 1 Jun 2018 on HotelsHonestly, one of the best places I have ever visited! Excellent view, exquisite breakfast, luxurious apartment. The people that own it were very friendly, all-in-all, a fantastic experience.

Great Tuscan base
Posted 27 Jun 2017
Pros: Everything
Cons: The access road could use some work.
Location: Close to walled city of Volterra. Easy drives to San Gimignano, Siena, Chianti, Pisa, Lucca and a host of other places.
The accomodations were peaceful with wonderful scenery. A great place to come home to and relax after a full day of sightseeing. The pool was nice to have.
Central location to drive to many of Tuscany's beautiful hill top towns.
The staff were kind and helpfuland always ready to address our needs. Personally delivered breakfast every morning was special.

Quiet and secluded
Posted 9 May 2017 on HotelsWe visited during the off-season, I'm sure the grounds are amazing and the pool open during the summer, but not while we were there. The apartment was clean, large, and comfortable. The location is a way from the town, but it was nice to be "out in the country" and relax.
the hots were kind and friendly without hovering

Lovely quiet place in the country.

Pros: Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine looking at the countryside. So peaceful and quiet.
Cons: The road.
Location: Volterra was an amazing place we went back twice just to walk around and explore.
Our only complaint was the road down to the hotel very rough. The rooms were nothing fancy but were clean. The deck was wonderful and the views were amazing.

Mooie locatie
Posted 1 Aug 2023 on HotelsHele mooie locatie, mooi zwembad en fantastisch uitzicht. Appartement schoon en keurig, echter heel gehorig. De gastvrouw was niet echt vriendelijk/gastvrij hetgeen je zeker mag verwachten.
